We are still
Taught more
How to defend
Ourselves
Than to
Defuse
The situation
To attack
Rather than
Understand
See where
The other
Person
Is coming from
Defend
Rather than learn
Fight back
Instead of
Negotiate
I'm not stupid
I know
The peaceful way
Wouldn't work
Everytime
But for the most part
The world doesn't
Even really
Seem to try
They know what
They want
And will kill
To get it
And honestly
Where does
That get us
If not just
More death
And a promise
Of more war
Something
I do believe
Must radically
Must change
And change soon
