Bullied beyond reason

And left to their
Own devices
The seeker
Starts  their day
Not one
To fit in
They just
Try to blend in
And get through
Their day
As painless
As possible
They seek
Many things
In life
But know
Most they
Will not see
Like friendship
And a sense
Of peace
So the seeker
Just keeps going
Trying to hold on
Day by day
Just a little
Longer

But its gets to be
Far too much
And the seeker
Seeks relief
Now that seeker
Is long gone

And the shame of it all
All the seeker wanted
Was one true friend
