We are taught
What to think
And how to think
We are also taught
About great people
In history
What we are not
Taught so much
Is the fact
That these people
To acheive
What they acheived
Rebelled against
And rejected
What they
Were told to be
Or to think
So when everyone
Else said they
Wouldn't
Amount to anything
They coluld still
Follow and fight
For their dreams
They were rebels
Outsiders
Who dared
To be different
Who had crazy ideas
And just ran with it
So the next time
Someone tries

To tell you
What to think
Or who to be
Tell them
To shove it
Because without
The rebels in history
And their crazy ideas
We would not have
What we have today
