The message
I keep writing
Is still as needed
As it was
When I was 17
Peace
Acceptance
Why are these
Still things
Far too hard
For most
To grasp
Peace is not
Found by force
I've said it
Before
I will say it again
And if we can't
Accept others
In society
For who they are
And learn
From them
Instead
Of hate them
We have no chance
This message
Is not new
Hell as long
As I have been
Writing about it
Others wrote
About it
Before me
They were right
And frankly
So am I
So tell me
Society
When will we
Finally get it
Because in the
Mean time
Innocent
People are dying
While waiting
