I am the girl
Who even at 8
Cared too much
About those
Who never
Gave a damn
About me
Those who with
Which I
Never fit in
But now I see
That, that has
Turned out
To be a good thing
I was raised

Around a hate
I never understood
And now against
That hate I do stand
Because a better way
To live I do see
And that better way
If you ask me
Is nothing knew
For it is the peace
That lies within
Everybody
