Even in this country

We let our
Emotions
Get to us
Allowing
Mothers
Who seem
Innocent enough
To avoid justice
While witch hunts
Still run wild
When will we realize
That double standards
Just are not right
Just because
Someone has
Individual thoughts
And thinks with their
Own damn mind
They are labeled
Wrong and dangerous
While people
Who do commit crime
Who seem as normal
Or at least as convincing
As you and me
Get off scott free
Tell me society
How is any of this
