Seeing the truth
Day after day
Of a society
That screws itself

If we did
Would we
Continue on this way
Or would we finally
Change our ways
Imagine if we all saw
Possiblities and dreams
Through the eyes
Of a child
How much clearer
Do you think
We might see
Through the eyes
Of innocence
Untouched
By senseless
Hate and violence
Through eyes
That still believe
That all things
Are possible
No matter
How impossible
They may seem
Imagine if we
Lived as dreamers
Instead of haters
And non believers

Did all the things
We said we would do
But never got around to
