I dream of a peace
I cannot yet see
But I still feel
Deep inside of me
It is of what I dream
For all of humanity
A sense of peace
Of understading
Respect and acceptance
That should be in abundance
But alas our society
Is sorely lacking
We need to learn
To accept others
For exactly who they are
Only then will we learn
To finally listen
And try to accept
Those who are different
Start to understand
Our differences
And finally start
To accept each other
For who we are
