In the shadows
Are those
Unseen
And unheard
Lost in a world
Gone absurd
But they are not bitter
No revenge
Is not what they
Are after
They see
The pain
And the sorrow
Of the world
In which they don't fit in
And they wonder
When will the
Healing begin
For in the shadows
They see the truth
That we seem to be blind to
Me and you
They know
That peace
Can never be
Until we work together
All in unity
For if it is one thing
That the shadows do teach
Is that we are
Now and forever
All in this together
