My soul is a canvas
So treat it well
Because on the hell
You have put me through
I refuse to ever again dwell
My body is but
A work of art
And the appreciation it deserves
I now know
I am the only place to start
I don't care
Who you are
I have too come far
To figure out
Who it is I am
And for my freedom
I feel I must
Take a stand
I love to write
To try to make things right
And I dream
Of one day having
A tattoo on my body
That stands for
What I do believe
This is me
Take it or leave it
