Bruised and psychologically beaten
But still never broken
I now live to be out spoken
And to give a voice
To those who unjustly
Go unheard
And I may not be sure
Where I am going
But where ever it is
I know I'll get there
With a soul and heart that's pure
A mind that's free
And eyes that see
Beyond the cover
That know how to read
And live to discover
Through accepting others
Just who I am meant to be
In with society
I may not fit perfectly
But I am proud of the fact
That I see things differently
I am unique
And so are you
Difference is
I know and embrace it
