Who I am is still unknown
Lost in a truth that is yet un shown
If you only knew the me
That you have yet up until
Now refused to see
You would be impressed
With what in me you see
But yet you cling
To the hatred you bring
To the table without
Any reason to see
The me you claim to see
You see the negative
Without caring
To even try
To see the positive
But doing so you don’t
Even get half the story
I am much more than what
You have labeled me
And all I have ever asked
Is that you really see me
If only you could see
The true reality
And finally realize
That from the inside
To the outside
Your hatred is only
Because the uniqueness
You personally seek
You see not in yourself
But instead in me
And that’s because unlike you
I have fought to keep my mind free
And am proud to be me
So you can go on hating me
And I’ll go on feeling sorry for you
Because unlike you
My mind is free
And I will forever be
Proud to be
Uniquely me
