Bullied and beaten down

Since you were too young
To really understand
What was happening
Told you were nothing
Told who you were
And who you should be
As they stripped you daily
Of your very identity
While molding you
Into the nothing
They wanted you to be

So they could justify 
Their treatment of you
Leaving you with seemingly
Nothing about it to do
I've been there friend 
Hang in there 
It does get better in the end
