Feeding the darkness
That is all consuming
Society keeps drowning
In it's own insanity
While convincing themselves
They are free
As long as they keep

Drinking the damn kool aid
Fed to them
By the very government

That divides
To distract them
From what goes on
Behind the curtain

For letting it be
Just too lost
To ever see
Lost causes from birth
Letting the demons
Throw away our worth
We have brought
Hell on earth

With no sanity

Ever to be sent
Life ends
Before it starts
Forever wondering
Who we truly are
While straying farther
And farther away
From where we are meant to be
While in our own darkness
Deciding to stay
Never failing
To always get in our own way
We just can’t seem to keep
The shadows at bay
