Staring into a cold abyss
My heart flutters nervously
As my eyes struggle to see
The demon inside
Fights to take control
I grasp at nothing
To hold on to everything
Losing my grip on reality
I find myself falling 
Away from 
Everything that is me

Nightmares made out of day dreams
My insanity starts to get
The best of me
Darkness creating monsters
I can't control
I brace myself

As I fall some more

Trying to tell the diference 
Between demon and friend
Demons surrounding
Friends lying
Family fading
Right before my eyes
My cries drowned out
By all the lies
Of a world not right
No end in sight
I give in to my plight
