You say I'm different
Like it's a bad thing
And I would say
Your normal
Like it's bad too
Except normal
Doesn't exist
It isn't real
Even when
It comes to you
Oh you try to

Be so called normal
Try to fit in
Even keep up
With all

The trends
And styles
All the while
Living in denial
That all of it

Is nothing short

Of a big fat lie
Because in
Reality you are
Just as odd
And so called weird
As the rest of us
But that part of you
You seem far too
Satisfied with
Keeping hidden inside
Just to fit in
With people
Who don't even
Really know you
But hey I'll let you in
On a little secret
They are hiding
Just as much
If not more
From you too
So go ahead
Tell me
And yourself
Its better
To be what

Others think
Normal is
As for me
I will continue
To happily embrace
The uniqueness

That is me
And truth be told

If I may be so bold
To say
I actually
Feel sorry
For you

Because unlike you
At least my soul

Is free and happy
