Everyday
Alive
Greed and power
Are for what
We strive
And to get it
We don't seem
To care
How many lives
We destroy
In the process
It gets me down
But I can't stop fighting
Gotta get back up
And figure out
How to keep
That light of mine
Shinning
Brightly like
The midday sun
Because I know
That if any change
Is going to happen
Its going to start
Within and spread outward
And I will live each day
To do my part
To finally make
This world
