There are those
Who deny
That racism
Still exists
Or that
Homophobia
Is even really

That big
Of a deal
Or that
The bullying

Problem
Is really as bad
As it is

Made out to be
But let me
Tell you
People
Those problems
Are far worse
Even today
Than they seem
For everyday

Those same things
Take the dignity
Of far too many
And those
Are the ones
Who are
So called lucky

Because far too many

Don't live
Through
This bullshit
And that is why

Instead of
Questioning
If it is truly real
Or as bad
As others say

The questions
We should be asking
Are why do these
Things exist
In the first place

And how
Can we make
Them go away
