Why do you look up at the sky?
Why do you always just smile and say its going to be okay?
Tell me my dear brother why do you act different when your not around me?
When you talk all you can say are a few words but i guess the toughest ones for you are to tell me you love me.
You have autism I know what it is only I dont understand what it is.
How is it that you always know how to make me laugh when im crying.
Dont listen to that lady from long ago that told you that you were stupid.
I love you just the way you are even when you knock on my door for a long time when i sleep or my door is locked.
You laugh at people who call you different because their all the same and not special like you.
Whats on your mind my dear brother?
I can tell you dont understand me all the time but thanks for at least trying.
God gave you to our family because he wanted you to teach us the lessons only someone in real life can teach a family that takes everything for granted.
Many of my friends say "When I met you and your brother I realized how lucky I really am to not have to go through the same thing as you".
All I say back is "Yea?Well let me tell you this Im actually luckier than you because I learned more and grew up with abit more of an idea about what the world is really like.I dont go through the tough times...alone,but with him by my side to smile at me and say its going to be okay".
