Little brother
For so long little brother you have been the one I have tried my hardest to reach,
The way you live your life scares the hell out of me, but I don't want to preach.
I know you are just trying to make people understand,
It has been a long hard road from childhood to becomeing a man.
You work from sun up to sun down, thinking I'll sleep when I am dead,
Busting your butt of so they can have food in thier bellies and a roof over their heads.
You think that you have to be tuff as steel all the time,
You don't let any one see the personal hurdles you climb.
You do what you do everyday cuz some one has too,
No time for your self, their is always some one that needs you.
How you do it I will never know,
But I think you are appreciated more than we show.
I know sometime I get caught up in my own life and forget about you,
But I honestly never ment to hurt you.
You are wise beyound your years,For haveing to grow up way to fast,
I know it is hard to look to the future,
When you are not able to deal with the past.
But you can do anything you set your mind to, I belive in you,
I know I don't always remember to tell you,
But dannie no matter what I will always love you.
