When I close my eyes, I see your face,
Memories, take me back to another place.
Way back in time, back when you were mine.
Back when I held you in my arms, And I was safe from the world and safe from harm. Back when all I needed was your love to survive and make it through. When my world was perfect because I had you. Now my heart is empty and cold. Because you are not here for me to hold. Everything I ever wanted I held at the tips of my fingers.
