"An Oath" 4 - 4 - 08
shut-tightly your eyes, awaken my son
rub them clear in the morning blaze
carry on
it won't be long
before the come of nightly runs
whisper only so loud in the library
collections of dust and black'n'white
read on
inspire no wrong
in respect, absorb and further understanding
pray silently, protect the faith inside
in respect, tell not the secrets inof hate
hold fast
coming to past
the truths, so dismal, as they may
this shall me mine, this dream
take it with my body
surrender the suns
shine ever-long and blaze high
the truth's inside
in respect, share kind
and retain the violence.
