cuased my heart to die

before the storms, flooding rain

could stop the consuming drain
but then you came back to me
made a blind heart once again see

in the dark of night
made me proud and full of glee
lightning and thunder echoed
winds and gusts bellowed
they told of deceit
fell me to my feet
the rumor of truth from a fellow
could it be the one i trusted
crossed my heart and busted
