the reasons i love and care for you

are not unknown, i am true to you

for all the things you have me do

you're amazing and i love you



when you came into my dark

you saw only a beaten heart

but yet, somehow, you took those parts

and made a beautiful work of art



i offered only a heart so used

i could only show a love so abused

but yet you took a mind so bemused

and gave me direction and a use



for all these things i am in debt

i hold no hate or past regret

for the decisions i made, no fret

for i know it was all for it...
