I sit awake and watch you sleep

I sit awake and just think

I lie awake abd stare into space

I like awake and all my thoughts race



I wonder what you are thinking

I wonder what you dream

I sit awake

On those sleepless nights



Every night it seems

Like a sleepless night

No matter how hard I try

I just can not rest my thoughts



My mind is scrammbled

I'm trying so hard

I want to sleep

But all I can do is stare.
