so to experience life and love and not be left so far away isolated out in the cold dark of outer space. Stars shine alone far from others. I doubt from this poem you would want to be cold and alone and far away from other stars. You ask how can I shine. In that line you show you give away your power to this other person. Be happy with who you are whether you have someone in your life or not. You can't hang all your hopes and dreams and happiness on another and expect them to fulfill you. You have to first learn to love yourself and realize you are enough whether you have a love currently or not. Try to rise above all those feelings and become the watcher who watches the thinker not believes she is the thinker. The thinker is your ego. If you like to read try reading Eckharte Tolle's book, ' A New Earth' it will help you with this greatly. Enjoyed your poems, just wish you would find that tiny something in your life that makes you glad to be alive. You are unique and a marvel just the way you are. There is nobody in this world created that is exactly like you. Try remembering that and believing it as your starting point when you are out and about in the world.
