Why me God?
Why me God?,
Why must you build bridges up just to break them down,
Why must you make all the collapsing pieces fall around me God?,
Why must you make me think this world revolves around me God?,
people used to tell me my life with Jesus was like a hit and miss,
and that I needed to do something to fix this,
but let me tell you something,
it doesn’t matter what other people say because nobody on this earth has ever lived their life Gods’ way,
so don’t let anyones comments define who you are,
even if you are like me and don’t know what your future is so far,
Why me God?,
I’ve been beaten down,
kicked around,
and made to feel like I was worthless,
but this still small voice in my head told me to get up and disprove this,
I didn’t know whose voice it was,
was it my moms?,
my sisters?,
my inspiration on YouTube?,
I didn’t know whose voice it was,
but I was searching it out for the best of me,
but little did I know this was Jesus testing me,
it was him,
telling me he had better plans than my sin,
and that all I had to do was grab his hand,
but I was blindfolded and mistaken,
I didn’t know whose voice it was,
so I turned my back to him,
started searching out my sin,
I found out it was the wrong path,
found myself in the aftermath of sin,
How long had it been?,
since I was blinded by sin,
Why me God?,
why must you make it so hard for us to believe God?,
But it is when we believe that we’ll be set free God,
A friend once told me it is hard to believe in something you can’t see, hear, touch, or smell,
That’s why most people say forget it, oh well,
but I was ready to dig deep,
to find out why Jesus died for me,
it hit me like a brick,
he laid down his life for my eternal piece,
so I veered off my path of sin,
to find out what Jesus was,
He is Alpha,
Omega,
The Creature,
Beginning,
and the End,
and he came to die for our sins,
so I’m going to lay down my life for him,
Cause he died for me with an everlasting love,
so I won’t do any complaining,
I just got one question,
Why me God?
