Lessons to be learned
Never cease to forget

Life, hope, truth, trust
Faith, pride, love, lust
Pain, hate, lies, guilt
Laugh, cry, learn, die
Pages forever turning.

Take a few chances
Think hard and well
Because every blank page
Is for a story you must tell
To keep these pages turning.

But alas! The world turns silent
As the seconds following tragedy
This neverending book, so different
Once you finish there's no going back
The pages just stop turning.
