I give up on the world around me,

Because I do not see the advantages

Of having it earn my trust and

Then breaking my soul.

As it does this onto myself

And to others, I no longer

See my world crumbling around 

Me alone.

I've seen my nation rise and fallen

Within a matter of days,hours and

Even seconds.

Begging for an end to their unravelling,

Torment and the asking of questions.

Therefore yes... I give up on the world Around me, because it lied to me

When it said I'd be the only one suffering In it.

Taking responsibility alone for a pain

Leaving scars deeper than you 

Have ever inflicted.
