My darling,  my baby ,  my everything

Tell me something good. 

That if it was a dream , you'd stay asleep. 

Tell me if it wasn't for the world we live in

You'd proudly say I'm your queen. 

Tell me if it wasn't for the distance 

You'd stay with me,  hold me. 

Tell me if it wasn't for your fears. 

You'd accept this for what this really 

Is and tell me you love me. 

Then again like I said my dear

That's only a fantasy. 

Reality is your miles away from me

And all I think about is your touch. 

Truth is your heart has frozen over 

And all I think about is your love. 

Worst of all is I'm really awake and

Your mine and your kisses are all

I want with a warm embrace calming

My fear of what's about to come.
