The speech of my life
If someone asked you to make a thank you speech on the spot. What would you say? Well , because you might never know if you only have today.
What would you be thankful to?
To the life you ... The mistakes you've made ?
To the people you know or the love that you always gave ?
What would those inspirational words be? Since life is so short , you see .
If it was me ... I'd thank those who tried to kick me to my knees.
Those who knocked me to my grave .
Mostly those who tried to make me choose their ways .
You know why , because now I've been built from the ground up today .
Now this hopeful heart of mine can never be caged or tamed.
I know by now you would have so much to say .
You would love to get it out before it's too late .
I suggest if you going to say something... Say you're thankful for what you have today .
Mostly , because it won't always be here to stay.
