You said you loved me

Told me such beautiful things

Entranced me with your eyes

I fell under your spell

No longer in control

You hold my heart in your hands

I've lost all sense of time

For you are the sun that rises

To kiss away the darkness ...

The introduction of these feelings 

Have only weakened the once sturdy walls

I prided myself on building up

For so long ...

I believed in the vision of "us"

Praying for our happy-ever-after

When in reality I was living a fable

My heart collects dust on my sleeve

Damaged

Not able to heal with that open wound

You said you loved me ...

I believed you

Only to awaken from this sweet dream

Into the reality of this wicked nightmare ...
