Once upon a time...
The love that I once felt
Left me empty inside
Feeling as if I could never love again...
Only to be proven wrong...
I loved a second time
Only to be disappointed
Once again...
Am I cursed for failure or
Is it just not my time yet?
Thoughts of never feeling such
A wonderful way ever again
Plagues my mind...
Deep down I know that one day
My time will come
To love another and be
Loved in return...
Until then I shall continue
To grow and evolve into
What my destiny has in
Store for me
And when that "right" person
Comes into my life at the "right" time...
