Little is the thanks you give
To God who made you live

He made you from clay
He created the heaven and the earth in six days

Satan wishes to lead you astray
And he guided you to the right way

To your well-being he is not insensitive
In his words you still did not believe

Wealth, he provided for you and your family
So you can stay together soundly and happily

You slept at night
And you woke to see the light

Yet little is the thanks you give
To someone who guides you from morning to eve...
