Today mom,
You are older by a year
There are so many things
I'd love to share

Your simple approach to life
The way you take things so little,
To dad, you are a real wife
So kind, beautiful and simple

How I wish I were home
To eat out of those meals,
I will never feel cold
Breakfast, lunch and dinner
With lots of meat

But the distance doesn't help
So many miles to cover,
By weekend I should be around
To hear your sweet voice and sound
