Queen of the Dance

The music begins

Rumbling and blaring

Her body sins

Some start staring

Her feet are triggered.

She's full of sass.

She bubbles with vigor

But maintains her class.

The beats are wild.

They course through her blood.

She's got a unique style.

She does what she loves.

With the storming rhythm

She is instantly captured.

It is now that she's living.

She's in complete rapture.

Her attentive ears listen.

Her hips hypnotize.

Her full lips glisten

And so do her sparkly eyes.

Quite fascinated,

Spectators watch in awe.

She feels elated.

She can break no law.

Her powerful aura of a goddess

Can make you fall in a trance.

She a seductress, not modest.

She's queen of the dance.

Author's Notes/Comments:

I wrote this poem because I love dancing. The feeling that I get from it is unparallel. I feel confident on the dance floor. I have no insecurities at all
