This heavy heart makes me fall from the sky.

Why did I let myself hold you so high?

I probably could have seen in your eyes

That you'd be the one to crush me with lies.



Each word that you purge

Breaks me down more

And more to the point

That I crash to the floor.



Lying there I felt a subtle shiver

Permeate through my temple

Awakening me to the damage I've done.

The thought made me quiver...



So its about time I cut myself loose.

My neck can't be tortured by your deadly noose.

Come down from the pedestal I placed you upon.

All the effort I placed in you...its gone.
