I got caught between

Love and hate

Caught in the middle

Of a nasty storm



My shelter is the cause of tears

There's nowhere left to hide.

My eyes burn from the damage

From this never-ending storm.



But I'm just an innocent bystander

With an aching heart.

I'm waiting helplessly,

Being ripped apart.



I got shaken by the earth

And condemned to the ground.

Not a single hand to pull me up,

Not a soul to give me hope.



Time won't heal my wounds

The damage has been done.

I'm scared and alone,

Afraid to move on.
