Sometimes I question love,
Sometimes I test my heart,
Sometimes I deny your touch,
Sometimes I impose my part.

But when you are away,
I just wonder as I state
How must I get through the day,
Because it is you whom I await.

Sometimes I doubt what I feel,
Sometimes I disclaim love for you,
Sometimes I reject what is real,
Sometimes I hold respect when it is due.

But when you are gone,
I just wonder as I ask,
How must I survive the day alone,
Because it is quite a task.

This wait is driving me crazy,
Because I can't live without you, baby.
