~From the Edge~





Stepping out with a positive attitude I can say

that it's not easy task to attain this every single day.

So many things take place that makes me so sad,

even when in my heart I just want to be glad.

There are many things,that I can't help it,but fear,

can't avoid certain events, that steal all my cheer.

As I feel  growin small often and all alone here,

as night approaches, and you're not with me near.

And from my eyes, fall, each tear,

but from you I see no compassion, but a relentless sneer.

Meanwhile my hurting heart wavers now from this ledge,

I am slipping, and about to plunge from this makeshift, edge.

Many hurtful events, from my past, my heart have affected,

and now my soul, from your love is just disconneted.

There are times that nothing much at all, makes any sense,

As everyday I try hard and harder, to ignore, all your offenses.

Pleading, only to him, my God, to help me through all day and night,

And praying with all my might,He leads me straight, to his Divine Light.
