Pumpkin,Pumpkin, you're really a friend of mine!

You that light up my house at Halloween Night!

Every year you're good and to me so fine

Pumpkin,Pumpkin,with a face that grins so bright!



Pumpkin,Pumpkin, you're my true delight!

When I carve you in whom I want,in Halloween to excite

And to spook some folks in town on sight

Pumpkin,Pumpkin,you're really a friend of mine!



Pumpkin,pumpkin,now tell me why

You have to really leave, right after Halloween night

And let us turn you once again

Into another delicious... pumpkin pie!



Pumpkin,pumpkin,with a face that grins so bright!

You bring me so many hours of thrilling fun

Every year from me you have to go... away

But next Halloween Night, you're coming back to me!
