EMBRACING SUMMER

(Trine Poem)

Nightingales sing at dawn

To make my days more drawn

To long, hot Summer days

Full of fun and rainy days!

Where sometimes I leave all my cares

For another glimpse of days to bear

As I embraced all the summers before gone

With waves that crashed, against the bay

With nothing left, for me to spare!
