THERE WAS A TIME
There was a time when I really thougth
That I knew it, understood it all,
As we were both in time standing tall,
More than ready to fly,and to soar above the skies.
It would be for us another flight, that would take us soon,
To highs we haven't heard or known for sure before
In any way like this or any shape or form,
Till that special moment, we set eyes in each other's sight.
So we rose and dove and sometimes we also took a plunge
And too many things happened faster than we could ever plan,
And in foreign places somehow we both wandered off, got lost.
But yet, there was a time, a most wonderful time for you and I
