Dearest God, when I am lonely

And my soul is sinking, in dispair,

Let not my heart ever forget YOU,

And that you hear, my every pray.



Let not my heart ever be blinded,

By the mistakes I made today and yesterday,

But in good time help me to LET THEM GO,

And help me get back on my feet, and make me whole again.



Dearest God, inspire right away, my soul

To make up for all the wrongs I made,

Inspire me somehow, to get rid of all the fears,

And in the future, never to be sorry for myself.



And my Dearest God, Saviour of my soul,

Give me the REST I need, to put my mind at ease,

Every night that I go to sleep,

And bless me in the mornings with the courage to go on.
