About this Lord, my life's journey

Which for me, you have so prepared,

Let me follow the beacon of your guiding light

As I go bumping along on such treacherous seas.



Be therefore now my rudder through, any storms

That always steers me right

For I am just a little ship sailing

Across on a great, and bounding sea.



Lord please remind me often,

Of how much I don't really know,

Please, keep me always humble

So that I may grow in 'YOU'



Be my rescuer, my salvation,my lighthouse,

Never let me set sail without 'YOU'

Into the mighty sea, all on my own

Nor let me get on aboard,on a ship of fools!



For I am just a little ship sailing

Across on a great, and bounding sea,

And it's 'YOU' the only one that rules the tides

And all the course of my destiny!
