Be thankful you don't have everything
That gives you something more, to look forward to,
Be thankful you don't know it all
That gives another chance for you to learn more!
Be thankful for all your heartaches,
For that means in life, love you've known
Be thankful for any pain you've gone through
For these are the ones, that make you grow.
Be thankful for all the mistakes you've made
For these are the ones, that will pave best all your way
Be thankful for all the bad days you may have,
They make you appreciate the good ones, when they come.
Be thankful for each and every brand-new day, you get to see
Be thankful when you're getting old and gray hairs
For God has blessed you with so much wisdom
Given you a long life to take care of your affairs.
