Dreams

What are the visions

That roam through your mind

They are the things you want

But can’t seem to find

Your thoughts are visions

Of things that will never be

But in your mind it is real

Not an illusion but reality

But then you wake up

And come to see

Those visions are false

An illusion in reality

Should you dream

Or should you hide

The things you wish would happen

But don’t, so why try

Why do we bother to dream

What can't be

Is it because it fulfills us inside

And makes us happy

Knowing your thoughts

Are about things

That will never  be seen

But is sets our hearts aside

And lets our minds be free

Knowing when you wake up

It’s all that will

Never be
