Welcome to My World



I believe in Santa Claus...the toothfairy...the Easter bunny

Rainbows and hearts are my favorite shapes

I write poetry and pros every night

And I am the enlightened woman of my day



I don't believe in organized religion...politics...or war

And I can't stand wearing a dress

I'd much rather have my nose in a book of poetry

Than watch the news or the latest tv program



I never wear headphones to make sure I don't miss the world

And i absolutely despise girls who cross their legs

I have been taught compassion and kindness

Kisses and hugs are my two favorite greetings



I don't trust many people in this world

But if i love someone they know it each and every day

My jeans always have grass stains

From rolling under clouds



Anger comes rarely but when it does...hide

Because I am today's woman and I am empowered

I can show you compassion, anger, love, jealousy, hope
