Respective countries hurl epithets at each other
With ire and rancor; vituperation holds sway.
All creatures with limbic brains stimulated act
Out in fear and hoarded pain; mellowness seems
To disappear as hostility and hatred go global
Rascism, religious intolerance, bigotry and narrow
Provincialism grip the planet an people spew out
Venom with ever increasing vituperation.
A generation of vipers as was predicted in Biblical
Lore. Finally, a race of Nagas emerge who turn
The viper into a symbol of sagacity and wisdom.
