Only you, ever sky, ever sun, evergreen, and ever moon.
Your delicate porcelain face sprinkled with Celtic freckles
With emerald eyes that drift, drift away into hinterlands;
Your closed eyes signal to me that it is time to drift with you.
And I move, following the folding up universe as sleep
Gathers up the world to embark on vistas beyond time.
